Oversee and monitor the effective utilisation of the PERSAL system to ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures. Monitor the selective allocation of PERSAL functions to authorised users in accordance with their roles and responsibilities. Create and maintain departmental codes on the departmental code file. Evaluate requests for changes on the PERSAL system and recommend approval or rejection in line with system controls and departmental requirements. Manage and control PERSAL notices and system messages, ensuring that critical information is communicated to management. Monitor the effective and efficient use of the PERSAL system. Ensure effective interaction and communication between PERSAL User Support and the Department. Compile, maintain and update Departmental PERSAL policies, manuals and procedures to ensure standardised system use and compliance. Manage human resources, finances and assets.
